Les Stone's Workshop
Created: Feb 21, 2007

Motor Boy Les Stone is a most prolific builder, just have a quick look at Page Five of the Engine Gallary for some of this wngines (there are more scattered all through this web site—I'm nothing if not disorganized!) All Les' work is characterised by his highly polished look, frequently with contrasting metal colors. I know there are some who prefer the au natural look on a model engine, but Les knows what the judges at the shows where he exhibits like, so he gives it to them. Even more impressive is the modest equipment Les uses to build his engines. This demonstrates it's the talent of the man who turns the handle that gets the result, not the handle.
